For the second time, Optimist Clubs are invited to vote online for the next wave of Optimist International leaders. Normally an activity that takes place at convention, in 2014 all Optimist Clubs were included in online voting, giving an opportunity for all to have their voices heard through technology. To be eligible to vote, Optimist Clubs must be current in international dues.
The voting information was sent on June 1, 2015 to all current Optimist Club presidents with a good email registered with Optimist International. Those on the ballot are:
International President 2016-2017
Jim Kondrasuk
Nick Prillaman
Optimist International Board of Directors
Rebecca Butler Mona
Adrian Elcock
Gil Ortiz
Eight individuals are running for Vice Presidents 2016-2017 unopposed in each region.
