We encourage you to be an Optimist by getting involved with an Optimist Club. You can find a club in Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, or Washington by clicking on the top link in the Find a Club column at the right column of the page. Find a club anywhere in the world at the bottom link.
You may join an Optimist Club by letting someone in the club know that you are interested. Each club has a little different process for welcoming new members, but if you are of good moral character and have a desire to do good things in your community, your service will not be turned away. Find out who to contact in the Optimist Club nearest you at the Find a Club link and then complete a membership application to join.
You may also become a Friend of Optimist. Friends make an annual contribution of $100 to Optimist International. They are aligned with a club in their community, but are not required to attend meetings or events. Find out more.
