I want to be a member of this Optimist Club

Okay, the thought of living on an island in the Caribbean has always appealed to me, but I don't believe I have ever read a better promotion for what an Optimist Club does for their community than can be found with the Optimist Club of Basseterre .

What's so special about their club? According to Club President Mrs. Bernadette Dolphin:

• They understand the vibrancy of their club depends on their ability to engage a cross section of persons from the age of 18, concerned with seeing our youth elevate, promote and advance themselves and the communities where they live.
• Optimist offers its members not just a social and working relationship with their peers, sharing and manifesting ideas through projects, but also opportunities to demonstrate leadership and social skills locally, regionally and internationally.

The Optimist Club of Basseterre promotes forward movement , positive thinking and shares the Optimist Creed as their purpose for being a club. Sign me up!
