Happy New Year Optimists!
It has been published that those who have a sunny outlook about the future tend to have better mental health than those who are pessimists. (Journal of Personality and Social Psychology January 2002;82:102-111)
Since it is the beginning of the new year, let's share a resolution among all Optimist Clubs. Vow to read the Optimist Creed aloud everyday and share it with others at least once a week.
The Optimist Creed is something shared by Optimist Clubs worldwide. We further our mission when rejoicing in the positive thoughts shared throughout the world. Click here for a copy of the creed that you can print and share with others.
We love stories about your Optimist Club. Please tell us one and we'll add it to the website.
